USA man eats 30000th Big Mac

An American man has eaten his 30,000th Big Mac this week, in the same McDonald's restaurant where he first tasted the sandwich in back in 1972.

On top of that, McDonald's U.S. headquarters said: "We are lovin' Don Gorske's enthusiasm for our iconic Big Mac sandwich and appreciate his ongoing loyalty". He said he thought he had a big mac saved in the freezer but was mistaken.

These kudos as well came straight from national headquarters: "We are lovin' Don Gorske's enthusiasm for our iconic Big Mac sandwich and appreciate his ongoing loyalty".

"If I go for 40,000, that'll take me another 14 years or whatever like that".

WBAY reported that 64-year-old Don Gorske reached the milestone at a McDonald's in Fond du Lac, Wisc. on Friday.

In October 2017, Gorske set his first world record for the most Big Macs consumed. Well, he can certainly demonstrate that he paid for them, as he added: "People like to see proof".

According to News.com.au, he has gone only eight days without consuming a Big Mac in the past 44 years.

He's also been the brunt of jokes, targeted for his eccentricities.

But it's not just eating Big Macs that Don loves - he's passionate about everything surrounding them too.

Tall and lanky, with a graying ponytail and friendly demeanor, Gorske has obsessive compulsive disorder and a meticulous memory, which lends to his Big Mac habit and his penchant for details.

Gorske says he's eaten at least one Big Mac nearly every day since May 17, 1972. On the day McDonald's founder Ray Kroc died in 1984, Gorske ate his 5,978th Big Mac. Among the other Big Mac-related facts he knows is the date that McDonald's switched from lettuce leaves to shredded lettuce - February 10, 1999.

Gorske has appeared in numerous television shows including Rachel Ray Show, Oprah, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Inside Edition, and Lopez Tonight. He was featured in the movie "Supersize Me". In 2003, Ellen DeGeneres asked him to get his cholesterol checked, and it was 140.

On Friday, he ate his 30,000th order.

But it's an absurd number of Big Macs.

"I also made a promise to my mom".

To this day, the Fond du Lac man says the fast food doesn't make him feel sick. That day was April 27, 1988.
